“Jimson Weed”, Georgia O’Keefe, Oil on Linen, 1936
Join us as we explore the art work of American artist, Georgia O’Keefe, who was famous for her large and colorful flower paintings. During this workshop, we will create our own floral paintings on hexagonal canvases! Students will be provided flowers to use as references to draw and paint from. The artwork created during this workshop will be displayed at The Discovery Center for their “Queen Bee” themed First Friday held on March 3rd, 2023.
